About Genvissa
Genvissa is an integrated medtech consultancy for teams that need clear decisions, connected thinking and work that can withstand serious scrutiny.
Our team
Genvissa is a team of senior medtech operators and trusted specialists, brought together around the decisions that determine whether a technology progresses or stalls.
Medical technologies move forward when product, evidence, regulatory, manufacturing, financial and market strategies reinforce one another. Genvissa brings those perspectives together early enough to influence the decisions that matter.
Each engagement draws on the expertise required for the challenge, including strategic innovation, product development, engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory strategy, clinical evidence, intellectual property, health economics, fundraising, market access and commercialisation. Clients receive senior judgement, specialist depth and one coherent plan without having to coordinate multiple disconnected advisers.
Led by Alistair Wilson
Genvissa was founded by Alistair Wilson, an exited medtech founder with more than 20 years of experience spanning strategic innovation, product development, manufacturing, clinical evidence, fundraising, transactions, sales and marketing.
Alistair is a named inventor on several patents, a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a former winner of Technology Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards. His experience across technical, operational and commercial leadership informs a particular interest in how market positioning, complex systems and human behaviour shape whether valuable innovation is understood, trusted and adopted.
What Genvissa stands for
A technically correct answer can still be commercially impossible, unfundable or unusable in practice. The critical path must work as one system.
Genvissa will not validate an unrealistic plan because it is the answer someone hoped to hear. Assumptions are made visible and tested.
The goal is not a generic recommendation. It is a decision, roadmap, evidence plan or controlled deliverable that the team can use.
Scope, pace and document depth can flex with company stage and budget. Accuracy, independence and safety do not.
Every engagement is built around a defined outcome, boundaries, assumptions, acceptance criteria, owners and next decision.
The more consequential the choice, the stronger the evidence, competence check, review and limitation statement must be.
Independent enough to challenge.
Experienced enough to deliver.
